Impact Assessment

The award of financial assistance has been considered against the five ways of working (long term, prevention, integration, collaboration, involvement) in the Well-being of Future Generations sustainable development principle. Important issues to note are the financial assistance preventing deterioration of the Churches, and safeguarding them for future generations.

The award of financial assistance is unlikely to impact on any specific groups as defined within the Equality Act 2010.

Finally, the award of financial assistance is unlikely to impact on the Council’ s obligations under the Welsh Language Standard Regulations 2015.

RECOMMENDATION: (a) That the application be approved.

(b) That delegated approval be granted to the Cabinet Member for Finance to approve Welsh Church Act Fund grants exceeding £2,000.

REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION:

To continue to support local Organisations.
